A to Z about Cup Noodles (Kansai, Japan Trip 2012, Day 5)

Have you ever rush for a project during overtime or study late into the night for exams and your stomach starts growling? These are times when you’ll love one of the greatest Japanese inventions, cup noodles.

On the 5th day of our trip, we visited the interesting Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum founded by Momofuku Ando, also the founder of Nissin Food Products. Over here, we learnt the history of instant noodles and cup noodles, as well as fun facts of cup noodles. We also saw different cup noodle flavours throughout the years in the The Instant Ramen Tunnel.

The highlight of the trip is to design our own cup noodle. We get to draw designs on our cups and choose the flavour of the soup as well as the ingredients.

Now, I’ve an interesting question for you. Do you know how the instant noodle is being put into the cup? Click on the video below to take a look! 😉
